Configuring your iPhone to communicate with Kerio Connect

Exchange ActiveSync configuration:

As of May 2013, Exchange ActiveSync is a licensed option. Your Kerio Connect license must include the EAS extension in order to use this feature.

From the home screen, choose "Settings", then "Mail, Contacts, Calendars", then "Add Account..."

You will see an Exchange option at the top of the list.

Select the Exchange option and you will be asked to provide your email address and password, and a description of the account.

After completing all fields and clicking the 'next' option, the device will attempt to locate a server, however this process will not succeed. At this point you will be provided with a similar dialog that now asks for your server address, domain name, and a username field. Enter your server's Internet hostname, for example 'mail.company.com', your username, and your email domain name and choose 'next'.

Once the iPhone has confirmed connectivity with your Kerio Connect server, you are asked which types of data to synchronize. Specify your preference, then allow the device to synchronize. You can go back into the account settings to configure additional options, such as the number of days for synchronization.
